Laser Tattoo Removal (Picoelim)

Pre-Treatment Instructions:

• Avoid tanning and sun exposure for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.

• Shave the area to be treated (if applicable) before your appointment.

• Clean the tattoo area thoroughly before coming to your appointment.

• Avoid using any skincare products containing retinoids, acids, or exfoliants 24 hours before treatment.

• Let your provider know if you have any history of cold sores or skin reactions.

Post-Treatment Instructions:

• Avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks following treatment.

• Keep the treated area clean and apply a gentle moisturizer as directed by your provider.

• Mild redness, swelling, and scabbing may occur, which should resolve within a few days to weeks.

• Avoid picking or scratching the treated area to prevent scarring.

• Avoid hot tubs, saunas, or swimming in pools for at least 1 week after treatment.

• Apply an SPF of 30 or higher on the treated area if exposed to sunlight.

• If any blistering or infection occurs, contact your provider immediately.
